I'm looking for the Wimbledon Theme that NBC uses going into commericals during the match and at the end of the match. I know that it was also used during the 1978 World Series video. If anybody has it or knows who compossed it please email me.

This is a great piece of NFL Films music. It, like most of NFL films commercial stuff, is NOT included in the recently released "Autumn Thunder: 40 years of NFL Films Music" although it should have been. Like the "This week in Baseball" theme and the original NFL Today theme song, it is great stuff.

For the NBC Wimbledon theme from 1980-

It is from the KPM (production music) album KPMK 1200 "Olympiad 2000" by Keith Mansfield which has different versions of the theme.

As indicated by the link in the post above, this was production music with an Olympic theme to be used in sports in general, and ironically in the UK it was used for their broadcasts of the US Open, while in the states NBC used it for Wimbledon.

You can still find it if you go to:

http://www.apmmusic.com/myapm/main.php

On the left select "Libraries and Cover Art".
Select KPM(KPM) drop down menu.
Select KPM 1000 LP Series.
In center window you should see all the albums in the series. Go to KPMK 1200 and 1200/2 to listen to both sides of the original album in clean streaming audio.

Use a program like Adobe Audition or Silent Bob to record the audio as it streams and you have it in .wav
