Hopefully this will get us started on the right track but I did a little searching and I came up with Non Stop Music.
This company is the company that does most of the theme music for the NBA on ABC, NBA on ESPN, and NCAA College Football on ABC.
Hopefully others of you will take this and move on and see if we can find anything.
I e-mailed the CEO of the TV/Music Themes Coordinator there and I havent heard anything back yet.
Hopefully this will get us in the right direction.....

Subject: The Various ABC Sports Themes

Well I hate to burst your bubble, but if someone does end up finding these themes from Non-Stop Music, they better like come up with some type of code word or something to hide its location, because Non-Stop Music absoluetly hates their stuff being reproduced over the Internet, unless it's on their own site, of course. I am not a Non-Stop employee or anything; the only reason I know this is that I am also a news theme junkie. A couple of years ago, Non-Stop contacted several webmasters who had samples of news theme cuts on their site and told them to take all Non-Stop music off the sites. Just take warning and tread lightly if you make any of the aforementioned ABC Sports music available over the 'Net.

That said, I think it's unfortunate that some composers feel that way about Internet distribution. With all these multimedia tools at the consumer's fingertips, composers need to realize that their music will get out to the Net at some point and they'll need to get over it. Luckily, Jon Colby, the composer of a whole bunch of ESPN themes in the past 20 years more or less, understands this and will at some point make some of his themes available over the 'Net at I do realize that money is a big part of the reason behind most composers' reasons for keeping their music off the 'Net, but Jon here seems to be looking beyond money, and that's a good thing to see. Hopefully it starts a trend.
